Morality Paths

Paths represent the code of morality that a character must follow or risk falling to the Beast inside of them. The most common path, and the one that all characters start on at some point in their unlife, is Humanity. Humanity encourages the character to act in an upright, moral fashion. The higher a character is on Humanity, the easier it is to deal with the mortal population, be active during daylight, and awaken from torpor.

To change from Humanity to another path, the character must have a teacher who is on the desired path. They must purchase Path Lore x2 to be familiar with the sin hierarchy as well as expectations of the Path. Changing paths will require IC behavior and knowledge tests at various points, not simple rock-paper-scissors tests.

Players of clans who have paths “available” to them should ask an ST for permission before taking a Path at character creation.
